Lyrics:
It’s quiet all around the only sound
Here in the silence are the snowflakes falling down
Just like glitter on the ground
Another year has come around
Got me thinking back about the times when I had nothing
But big dreams fillin’ my head
That were hanging by a thread
That fueled desire in my chest

But I’m blessed
Looking in the eyes of my children
Blessed
Surrounded by the love I’ve been given
Blessed
Don’t want to take a moment for granted
Sometimes it’s so easy to forget
To be grateful for the life I’ve been living
I’m learning to have faith in forgiving
Sometimes I lift my heart to the heavens
Just so I remember that I’m blessed

Here we are together taking time for one another
Underneath the Christmas tree
Sweeter than a symphony
It means everything to me
Sharing all our stories
Of our failures and our glories even when our hopes got torn
We made it through the storm
And I couldn’t ask for more

Cause I’m blessed
Looking in the eyes of my children
blessed
Surrounded by the love I’ve been given
blessed
Don’t want to take a moment for granted
Sometimes it’s so easy to forget
To be grateful for the life I’ve been living
I’m learning to have faith in forgiving
Sometimes I lift my heart to the heavens

When I’m down and I’m lost and I’m tired
When it feels the whole world is on fire
Close my eyes and imagine a choir

Even when I feel like a mess
Have to take a good look inside me, yes
In the hurt’s where I find the holy
I guess I’ll never be perfect but I try my best
To remember I’m

Blessed
Looking in the eyes of my children
Surrounded by the love I’ve been given
Don’t want to take a moment for granted
Sometimes it’s so easy to forget
To be grateful for the life I’ve been living
I’m learning to have faith in forgiving
Sometimes I lift my heart to the heavens
Just so I remember that I’m blessed

THE world’s biggest pit bull cuddles up to his adorable new litter – valued at a whopping half-a-million dollars. The eight puppies were fathered by gentle giant Hulk, who weighs in at a huge 12 stone. And even though his owners say his bite could ‘snap a man’s arm like a toothpick’, here he shows off his softer side by nuzzling and licking his new brood. The eight pups could collectively command $500,000 (£320,000) if they go through owner Marlon Grennan’s training school to become elite protection dogs. And there are even hopes one of the new batch could one day grow big enough to steal their father’s crown. Hulk, who made international headlines when he was unveiled earlier this year, has also been in training to become a protection dog at Dark Dynasty K9s in New Hampshire, USA. The business supplies protection dogs to high-profile celebrities, billionaires and wealthy professionals – as well as law enforcement around the world.

Miley Cyrus unveils “End of the World,” the first official single off of her highly anticipated album, Something Beautiful, out May 30 via Columbia Records. The new single “End of the World” out now.

Lyrics:

Today, you woke up, and you told me that you wanted to cry
The sky was falling like a comet on the fourth of July

Baby you’ve been thinking ’bout the future like it’s already yours
Show me how you’d hold me if tomorrow wasn’t coming for sure
Let’s pretend it’s not the end of the world
Let’s pretend it’s not the end of the world

Let’s spend the dollars you’ve been saving on a Mercedes Benz
And throw a party like McCartney with some help from our friends
Yeah let’s go down to Malibu and watch the sun fade out once more
Show me how you’d hold me if tomorrow was coming for sure
Let’s pretend it’s not the end of the world
Let’s pretend it’s not the end of the world
The sky is falling, falling like a comet now
I can see it coming down
The sky is falling, falling like a comet now

Ooh let’s go to Paris
I don’t care if we get lost in the scene
Paint the city like Picasso would’ve done in his dreams
Do all the things that we were way too terrified of before
I wanna take you to nirvana
We can’t take it too far
Hit the bottom of the bottle and forget who we are
Hold me close, you know tomorrow isn’t coming for sure
Let’s pretend that it’s not the end of the world
Let’s pretend that it’s not the end of the world
Let’s pretend that it’s not the end of the world

Let’s pretend
It’s not the end
Let’s pretend
It’s not the end
Let’s pretend
It’s not the end

Let’s pretend that it’s not the end of the world
The sky is falling, falling like a comet now
Let’s pretend that it’s not the end of the world
The sky is falling, falling like a comet now
Let’s pretend that it’s not the end of the world
The sky is falling, falling like a comet now
I can see it coming down

Lyrics:
I had it all
But I let it slip away
Couldn’t see I treated you wrong
Now I wander around
Feeling down and cold
Trying to believe that you’re gone

Love takes time
To heal when you’re hurting so much
Couldn’t see that I was blind
To let you go
I can’t escape the pain
Inside
‘Cause love takes time
I don’t wanna be here
I don’t wanna be here alone

Losing my mind
From this hollow in my heart
Suddenly I’m so incomplete
Lord I’m needing you now
Tell me how to stop the rain
Tears are falling down endlessly

You might say that it’s over
You might say that you don’t care
You might say you don’t miss me
You don’t need me
But I know that you do
And I feel that you do
Inside

Presenting, Idina Menzel as Maureen and Tracie Thoms as Joanne in 2005 wide screen version of RENT! 🙂 Enjoy!!

Lyrics:
Maureen: You know what miss Ivy League?
I can’t take much more of this! This obsessive compulsive control freak paranoia!
Joanne: What?!
Maureen: I didn’t pierced my nipples because it gross you out.
Joanne: Wha…
Maureen: I didn’t stayed at the King Club last night because YOU wanted to go home…
Joanne: You were flirting with the woman in rubber.
Maureen: There will always be women in rubber flirting with me! [Pause] Give me a BREAK!

Maureen (Sang):
every single day,
i walk down the street
i hear people say ‘baby so sweet’
ever since puberty
everybody stares at me
boys girls i can’t help it baby
so be kind and don’t lose your mind
just remember that i’m your baby

take me for what i am
who i was meant to be
and if you give a damn
take me baby
or leave me

take me baby or leave me

Maureen:
a tiger in a cage
can never see the sun
this diva needs her stage
baby lets have fun
you are the one i choose
folks would kill to fill your shoes
you love the lime light to now baby
so be mine and don’t waste my time
cryin’ ‘oh honey bear are you still my, my, my baby?’

take me for what i am
who i was meant to be
and if you give a damn
take me baby or leave me

no way, can i be what i’m not
but hey, don’t you want your girl hot?
don’t fight, don’t loose your head
’cause every night who’s in your bed?
who?
who’s in your bed?

spoken:kiss pookie

Joanne:
it won’t work
i look before i leap
i love margins and discipline
i make lists in my sleep baby
whats my sin?
never quit
i follow through
i hate mess but i love you
what do with my improptu baby?
so be wise ’cause this girl satisfies
you got a prize but don’t compomise
you’re one lucky baby

Joanne: take me for what i am
Maureen: a control freak
Joanne: who i was meant to be
Maureen: a snob yet over attentive
Joanne: and if you give a damn
Maureen: a loveable droll geek
Joanne: take me baby or leave me
Maureen: a anal retentave

both: thats it
Joanne: the straw that breaks my back
both: i quit
Joanne: unless you take it back
both: women
Maureen: what is it about them?
both: can’t live with them or without them

chorus:
both: take me for what i am
Joanne: who i was meant to be
Maureen: who i was meant to be
and if you give a damn
Joanne: and if you give a damn then
take me baby, or leave me
Maureen:take me baby, take me or la-la-la-la-la-leave me
both: take me baby or leave me
spoken: guess i’m leaving i’m gone!
