Above all else, 2014 has been the year of LORDE!
From her Grammy wins to becoming best friends with Taylor Swift, and even being parodied on South Park, we’re going to go ahead and assume this past year in particular has been one for the record books for this gal. HOWEVER! Though you know she’s uber talented and isn’t afraid to throw shade at certain celebrities — how much do you REALLY, REALLY know about Lorde?
If you’ve been thinking to yourself, “Hey, I wish I knew more about Lorde because she’s awesome and she’s super cool and I wanna be friends with her,” you are in the right place my friend, because we’re breaking down eight things you didn’t know about her. So if you ever see her in public, you should probably use one of these facts to get her attention – it’ll either freak her out, or she’ll think you awesome. OK enough chit chat, let’s get started.

He first appeared on the international stage when he recorded “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers” with the Belgian superstar, Dana Winner, in 1997. The song reached number 2 on the Belgian charts and they toured to sell-out performances. In 2001 he toured South Africa with “Beautiful Noise”, a show depicting the life and music of Neil Diamond. We caught up with One Direction on the X Factor finale carpet last night, and let’s just say that it was a fan-filled and energetic carpet. We’re happy to report back that guys filled us all in about what’s in store for next year — first up, our friends at MTV News got in a Q about the new music video for Kiss You. Here ya go. So stupid dancing, loads of locations and fun — we are intrigued — and we’re definitely looking forward to seeing the video — as of now, January 7 is looking like the premiere date. And while most Directioners are pretty keen on when and where the band will be in 2013, it’s cool to hear Niall talk about going back on the road. We’re pretty sure that YES, fans will enjoy the show. Anyone catch that joke poke from Liam, by the way? Those guys are funny. Alright, that’s it for now! Make sure you check out our interview with the winner of the X Factor, Tate Stevens, over on ClevverMusic. I’m Dana Ward in Hollywood, see you next time! Hosted by: Dana Ward
