The first one to come alive, is the soulful ‘Waiting For The Night’, featuring the crispy clear vocals of the talented Fiora Cutler. A warm, sparkling tune, giving sound to Armin’s latest score, for Dutch movie ‘Verliefd op Ibiza’. Armin van Buuren wouldn’t be where he is today if he wasn’t driven by new challenges. In 2013, many new ones await him. But he faces them all, kicking off 2013 with the official theme song to the ‘Verliefd op Ibiza'(‘In Love With Ibiza’) movie. And quite the anthem it is. ‘Waiting For The Night’ has that warm, dreamy melody, powerful hook and catchy vibe, a perfect base to the mesmerizing voice of Fiora. Take a trip to Ibiza and have your perfect night out, in mere minutes. The first light of dawn remains unseen, as two remixes of ‘Waiting For The Night’ await you. LA’s most wanted, Clinton VanSciver, bathes the tune in a unique blend of electro-house, disco and prog. Ingenious and original. www.hardknock.tv Hard Knock TV’s Behind the Scenes Exclusive preview of Ya Boy (YB) and Akon’s new music video for Lock Down. Akon tells Nick Huff Barili that you can expect his long awaited album to finally come out in September, that it’s called Stadium and that you can expect a much bigger sound from him, which is influence by everywhere he has been in the last couple years. Akon also goes in on the crosspollination between dance music and hip hop, which seem to be dominating the radio charts these days. Konvict has quite the eclectic roster that includes Lady Gaga, T-Pain, Ya Boy, Sway, Colby O’Donis, Jeffree Star, Kardinal Officiall among others. When asked if he ever thought about having a posses cut with everyone he said yes and that he could see even an album with everyone but that he wants to wait until everyone has a chance to make a name for themselves first. Ya Boy (aka YB the Rock Star), who’s influences include Eminem, Jay-Z, Tupac, E-40, Jadakiss, Master P, and Cash Money, talks about what the road has been like from his first track 16 Bars (google if you haven’t heard it) till now, including the move from the Bay to LA and going from working the streets to performing at Paris Hilton’s house. His new album Music Lives is almost done and you can expect him to not only rep the Bay but the whole West Coast, like he did with the smash We Run La, which he says pays homage to LA like Tupac’s to Live and Die in LA. If that wasn’t enough, video vixen Charm Killings …

I was wondering how would a music video feel like without music. So I made this in about four hours. Enjoy! All the credits are at the end of the video. —– Woke up and suddenly have to flip through 52 pages of comments. It’s one of these mornings, isn’t it… Thanks to all of you! 😀 You might be helping me to get enough motivation to get back to making videos. I’ve read your comments and I’d like to clear some things up. I AM USING THE OFFICIAL ACAPELLA VERSION. On top of it, I added sound effects by other people (everyone is credited). That was the bulk of the work within those 4 hours. I used LMFAO as a kind of reference to the videos that used to pop up soon after the Party Rock Anthem m/v was released, with the shuffling combined with different songs. First time I’ve heard Gangnam Style, I thought of Party Rock Anthem – they are really, REALLY similar in style, and I think many people noticed that. So this was just another point to make. I think that was the best song to choose at the end. Also, the lack of sync was caused by some glitch in my editing software. There’s a lot of small things which could be fixed, but for me, it was just another fun project to work on during the evening, so I didn’t really bother. Thanks again! And yes, I might consider doing more of these, I WILL do some different stuff as well, so subscribe and see for yourselves of you’re curious 😉
